Intellectual Property Associate Attorney09/21/2024Compensation: 165000.00 / AnnuallyOur client, a prestigious law firm, has an immediate need for an experienced Intellectual Property Associate Attorney to join their winning team in Boston.The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background in biological sciences and hold an advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred; a Master's degree with substantial industry experience will be considered) along with a passion for intellectual property law.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Draft and prosecute patent applications in the field of biological sciences.
• Conduct IP due diligence and freedom-to-operate (FTO) analyses.
• Assist in litigation support and post-grant proceedings as necessary.
• Collaborate with clients to provide exceptional service and innovative IP strategies.KEY REQUIREMENTS:
• Advanced degree in Biological Sciences (Ph.D. preferred; Master's with significant industry experience acceptable).
• Experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications.
• Familiarity with IP due diligence and FTO analyses.
• Some litigation and/or post-grant experience is beneficial.
• Registration with the USPTO is preferred.
• Prior experience in a law firm setting is a plus.
• Excellent academic record, superior organizational and communication skills (both written and oral).
